The Chicas are proud to announce Allison Gibson is the new Indie Chicas FC Director of Coaching.  Ali comes to us with 20 years of college coaching experience, 13 years as Head Coach at Idaho State University.  Ali is one of the most accomplished, experienced, and credentialed coaches in the country, holding a USSF "A" and NSCAA Premier license.  Ali's background as a collegiate and professional player, as well as her education in Kinseiology (B.A.), with a Masters in Organization and Leadership, will add meaningful value and strong positive influence to our growing program.  

“Simply put, Ali is a gift to the club. There are few coaches in the country, much less Idaho, with her experience, passion, and knowledge. She will now be shaping youth soccer in America, and she is a CHICA!” says club Executive Director Michael Mollay. “She has done it as a player, she has done it as a coach, and now she will be doing it as a Chica.”

Allison’s Playing Experience:

  • Final Four in 1992, Final Eight 1993.

  • (2) Northern California Athletic Conference Championships

  • NCAC Player of the Year 1992 and 1993

  • All-America honors both years from the National Soccer Coaches Association of American

  • 2000 Sonoma State’s Hall of Fame

  • Japan Professional Soccer League - Fujita Mercury from 1996-99.
